Activity Perks

Threading a needle, knotting thread, hand-stitching fabric, and using a sewing machine all help develop hand-eye coordination in children.

Sewing uses plenty of math. Children who get familiar with sewing patterns are learning engineering principles in an everyday activity!

Learning basic stitches helps children mend clothes, a practical skill they can use in adulthood, potentially even leading to a career in fashion design.

Sewing projects help kids develop problem-solving skills through planning and preparation.

Completing a sewing project gives kids a sense of accomplishment and encourages them to share their creativity with others.

The fee also includes sewing machine rental.

While we will provide all project materials free of charge, feel free to also use your own!

However, when it comes to sewing, the type of fabric material plays an important part in learning. Please check with us on what fabric is required for each session.

For sewing machines, we encourage sewing machine owners to use your own, as it will enable the kids to get accustomed to their machine. However, not all machines are suitable for learning. Please check with us for machine compatibility and we’ll be happy to assist! If your sewing machine is approved, you will receive a RM200 rebate from your child’s club fees for Basic and Advanced Clubs, or RM100 rebate for Intro, Intro+, Starter and Starter+ Clubs.

For general project materials, unfortunately, no. Our fees remain the same regardless of the materials used. You may instead take home the materials that have been provided.

For sewing machines, yes! You will receive a rebate from your fees if your sewing machine is approved for learning use. Please check with us during the first club session  🙂

If you can’t make it to a session, please get in touch with us for a replacement session! We are very flexible as we believe in the power of consistency, so we will try our best to assist.
